Journal of Studies in Applied Language (JSAL) is open access (to the text of the articles) and double-blind peer-reviewed, and is published by the Bonyan Pouya Pajooh Andisheh Institute (BPPAI)  in cooperation with the Iranian Scientific Association of Comparative Arts and Literature and the Pooyesh Institute of Higher Education. This journal is a quarterly journal that publishes original and relevant scientific articles (research) in the field of linguistics with a focus on theoretical linguistics (Journal Scope: pragmatics and discourse analysis). This journal is subject to the rules of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) in reviewing and publishing scientific articles, respecting the rules of ethics in journals, and follows the executive regulations of the Law on Preventing and Combating Fraud in Scientific Works.
