Journal of Studies in Applied Language (JSAL) is an open access quarterly journal, meaning that access to all articles in this journal is free and free of charge, and articles will be available on the journal’s website immediately after publication. This journal is published under the terms and conditions of the Creative Commons Attribution License 4.0 International (CC-BY 4.0), and licensees may copy, distribute, display, and build upon the work only if the original published article is cited.

Archival Policy
The Archival Policy Policy of theJournal of Studies in Applied Language (JSAL) outlines the journal’s strategy and policy regarding the archiving and archiving of copies of articles by authors in spaces such as personal and organizational web pages and various subject repositories.
Authors of the Journal of Studies in Applied Language (JSAL) may archive copies of their articles on their own web pages, corporate web pages, and scholarly databases.
TheJournal of Studies in Applied Language (JSAL) is published under an Open Access license, meaning that articles can be made available immediately under the terms of the journal’s specific license (CC-BY 4.0). If an author has published an article under an Open Access license, the author is permitted by the journal to share the published version at the time of publication in lieu of accepted manuscripts.
Authors may also reuse the abstract and citation information (e.g., title, author name, publication date) of their article anywhere, anytime, including on social media such as LinkedIn, Facebook, blogs, and Twitter, provided that a link to the article is included, where possible. The link should preferably include the Digital Object Identifier (DOI), which can be found in the citation information about the article online. The accepted version may be placed on: the author's personal website and/or the author's company/institution's repository or archive.
