The land of Iran with its rich and ancient culture is the product of the cultural and intellectual connection of Iranian ethnicities with different languages. The Persian language is the common heritage of all Iranian peoples, and accordingly, it is obligatory for all the people of this country to try to teach their children various Iranian dialects and languages in order to preserve this valuable heritage. The production of such works by researchers is actually a tribute to the culture, language and literature and the understanding of this precious heritage. The present study was written with the aim of describing the structure of verbs in Laki dialect, although some people believe that Laki is a language and not a dialect, but in this research, the word dialect has been used liberally. Laki dialect is one of the Iranian dialects, which is mainly spoken in the western regions of Iran, especially in Lorestan province. This dialect belongs to the group of western Iranian languages. Laki dialect is one of the remaining languages of the Pahlavi language and most of its speakers live in Lorestan, Kermanshah, Ilam and Hamedan provinces. Laki grammar, like Persian, has grammar rules that include verb conjugation, sentence structure, and how to use nouns and adjectives. This article looks for the construction of verbs in Laki dialect and presents its similarities with the construction of verbs in Persian language. The findings of the research show that the verb structure of the Laki dialect, including the form of the verb, identifier, tense, etc., has many similarities with the Persian language.
